The Greater St Paul Missionary Baptist Church fills the Oakland Community with hope in a world full of hopelessness lawlessness and despair. The mission of Greater St Paul is to build people of quality and excellence for the kingdom of God. It is a Bible Centered Church on the move promoting and providing education, awareness and financial empowerment to God's people and to the community of Oakland. The senior pastor, Bishop Joseph E. Simmons has lead the ministry for 19 dedicated and faithful years. He is a dynamic leader truly a visionary; serving God' people with passion and high ethical standards. He loves the people of God and the things of God with a uncompromising zeal that makes me proud to say I am a member of the Greater Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
