Sometimes, people on the internet feel like they can say whatever they want to whoever they want without regard to kindness or feelings. And that's exactly what Ginger Zee, the chief meteorologist for Good Morning America on ABC, recently encountered after a recent broadcast.
Ginger is pregnant with her second child and was stunned when a viewer made a comment on her appearance. An internet troll took to Twitter to body-shame Ginger for a form-fitting dress she wore one morning. The female viewer wrote "You have complained about being pregnant for months. Who chose that dress?” When Ginger saw this message, she was immediately taken aback but she decided to respond to this viewer once a for all.
And her incredible response to this internet troll had me cheering. Ginger, you are absolutely beautiful and we cannot wait to meet that baby!
When one family heard strange noises coming from behind their drywall, they had no idea what it could be. But once they heard a series of scratches and meows, they knew that it could be several baby kittens. That's when this family jumped into action to help save these poor felines.
Usually, stray cats have their kittens in tight, private places to keep them safe so the family assumed that that is how the kittens got behind the drywall. Just watch as they carefully make a hole in the wall and grab a box. One of the ladies put a sock around her hand to protect herself from their tiny claws and begin to reach inside the wall for the kittens.
She carefully scooped out the drywall and insulation and then pulled out one tiny kitten and placed it down by her feet. She kept reaching inside the wall to take the kittens out one by one. The more they moved her hands around inside the wall, the more kittens she found. There were a total of four kittens that were rescued from inside the drywall. Thank goodness this kind family got them out just in time.
There is nothing like seeing a couple join their lives together in holy matrimony. Seeing two separate lives become one life together in Christ is so beautiful and so powerful.
When Justin and Marla Anderson decided to come together in marriage they knew they wanted to make sure God stayed at the center. So when they were planning their wedding they wanted to do something to remind themselves and the guests that God is the reason they are all there.
That's when this couple came up with the greatest idea that as part of their ceremony, they would take a break from all of the ‘normal’ rituals and take time to worship. So while standing at the altar, the wedding band started playing the worship hit ‘Great Are You Lord’ from All Sons And Daughters.
All of sudden their wedding ceremony was transformed into a worship service. Friends, family and the wedding party were standing with their hands raised in total surrender to the Lord. And seeing this couple at their altar worshipping God on their wedding day is truly beautiful.
This is truly a powerful moment and I am so glad they chose to share this moment with the world.
Seven year old Anja sings one of her favourite songs What a Beautiful Name with her nine year old brother Tobias accompanying on piano. This brother/sister duo loves to share their music in church.
What do you say about yourself? Is it good....or bad? Do you think you're not good enough? Where did all the things you think about yourself come from? Did people say hurtful painful things to you? ....about you? Here's a little about who GOD says you are!
Jenni Smith was on a safari at the Addo Elephant National Park in South Africa when her group stopped to watch a herd of elephants. This group of majestic animals were all playing around a mud pool, trying to stay cool and hydrate.
That's when Jenni noticed one calf struggling in the water. Within moments, the rest of the herd saw the flustered baby elephant too and that's when they banded together to save this sweet animal. At first, the elephants try to remove some of the water from the pool, but the calf still cannot escape. The more this poor elephant tries to climb out of the mud, the more he just keeps sliding back down. Thankfully, one of the bulls in the pool helped push the baby out while some of the females used their trunks to pull him to dry land.
Finally, this sweet elephant was safe and completely fine. It's so amazing to see God's creations band together and help one another. The animals He placed on this earth are amazing. Don't you agree?
Frank Sinatra's music has truly stood the test of time. This legendary musician released so many hits that it's hard to pick just one iconic song that truly defines him. Even though I've heard a ton of covers, this 13-year-old's rendition of 'Fly Me To The Moon' really struck a chord.
Eric is a contestant on The Voice Kids and he's made it all the way to the finals with his incredible vocal skills. So when it came time to pick a song for the finale, it's no wonder he chose this classic from Frank Sinatra. This special song truly showcases the full range of his vocal skills and it definitely gave me a dose of nostalgia.
I love when kids cover the classic artists instead of the pop music we hear today. This performance was absolutely a showstopper and I'm excited to hear what this teen does next. What did you think of Eric's performance?
Pastor Greg Locke never shies away from the hard topics and today's discussion is no different. Many times, when a new person starts going to church or is invited by their friends, they always ask what they should wear. Pastor Greg goes on to say that some churches have started to make things about the outward appearance instead of about our hearts.
We never want someone to be discouraged from learning more about God because of their clothes or appearance. Pastor Greg feels that church should go back to their roots and embrace everyone and help all. He definitely makes some very good points about the real reason we go to church. What do you think about this powerful discussion?
There's a reason the hymn 'Amazing Grace' remains a favorite hymn for so many people. The powerful lyrics remind us that because of Jesus, none of us are ever lost. God is with always with us and because of the sacrifice His Son made on the cross, all of our sins are now forgiven.
Today, this incredibly talented a cappella group is coming together to sing this classic hymn. From that very first baritone note, I knew this hymn rendition was going to be different than anything I've ever heard before. Just listen as they use just the sounds of their voices to deliver this powerful performance.
You can truly tell that these men mean each and every line that they are singing. There's no doubt that they all have a heart for the Lord and a God-given talent for singing. I'm so glad they are using their beautiful gifts to give praise to His name. This is one hymn rendition that you don't want to miss.
In the small town of Jackson, Tennessee, tv personality Mike Rowe discovered the most unbelievable restaurant. Amy Crenshaw runs the ComeUnity Cafe which is a non-profit that gives good, healthy food to everyone, whether they can afford it or not.
Even though Jackson doesn't have a lot of people living there, they have a large homeless population. Amy and her husband felt so passionately about making sure their community was taken care of that they started the amazing cafe. When Mike Rowe and the producers of his show, Returning The Favor, heard about Amy and her mission, they decided to surprise her with some amazing gifts.
They wanted to make sure that Amy and her kitchen had all the tools they needed to continue helping Jackson. I just love watching her reaction when she realizes what is happening. What an amazing way to give back to the community!
There's no doubt that the four gentlemen from Vocal Spectrum have talent. This barbershop quartet group can blend their voices together in the most amazing way. They always manage to choose just the right song to showcase their incredible skills.
Today, these vocal wonders are taking in a Walt Disney classic as they perform a medley of songs from the animated feature film, Aladdin. This is one of those beloved Disney films that has truly stood the test of time and the songs are just as iconic.
I've heard these song hundreds of times, but this a cappella barbershop rendition is way better than anything else I've heard. I'm definitely getting a dose of childhood nostalgia right now. I'm so glad that this group is sharing their talents on a big stage for all the world to hear. Who else is going to listen to this one again?
There is something so powerful about the moment when people see one of God’s creatures in trouble and decide to step in to help. And that is exactly what happened one day when Ashley Albright was driving.
Ashley noticed there was a snowy owl just sitting on the side of a busy road. She knew something had to be wrong so she pulled over to see what was going on. As soon as she saw the owl she knew he had been hit by a car and was badly injured. The poor owl was terrified but he followed her as if he could sense that she was there to help him.
The injured little guy was starving without his ability to fly and hunt for food so Ashley took the owl to the Raptor Rehab Center so that he could get back on his feet. Because of his injuries, this poor owl had become blind in one eye and his feathers were singed.
Thankfully, the folks at the rescue knew exactly how to help this little man heal. It is going to be a long road to recovery but they are hoping that he will be able to learn to hunt with his good eye so that he can return to the wild. But regardless of what his future holds, this owl got a second chance at life because of one kind Good Samaritan.
God bless Ashley for pulling over and hoping for the best for this little owl during his recovery. Have you ever rescued an animal like Ashley did?
MercyMe's hit song 'I Can Only Imagine' has inspired millions of hearts all over the world. This song was released in 1999, but it still continues to encourage people each and every day.
Now, this popular song is coming to the big screen and we will get to see the powerful story behind the iconic song written by MercyMe lead singer, Bart Millard. Critically-acclaimed actor Dennis Quaid plays Bart's father, Arthur, in the film and this is nothing like any of the other roles he has played before.
Listen as this amazing actor discusses his important role and how it truly showcases how faith in God can see you through anything. The more I learn about this movie, the more excited I am to see it in theaters. 'I Can Only Imagine' will be released on March 16th and I know I'll be in line. How about you?
When April was found all alone on the streets, she wasn't very trusting of humans. She was very scared and timid, but thankfully, some kind rescuers brought her in. Little did they know that April wasn't the only one they would need to care for.
This poor pit bull was pregnant and by the looks of things, she was due any day. Even though April was still unsure of people, she delivered her puppies and watched as they got amazing care, including Andy, the runt of her litter. Her foster mom decided the best way to win this scared mama over was to show her love and affection. So little by little, they would cuddle until April began to trust her foster parent.
Now, this sweet girl loves all the affection she can get and has so much personality. Because of these kind strangers, all of April's puppies now have homes and this proud mama is with her forever family. I'm so glad this precious girl got the happy ending she deserves.
There are a lot of incredible police officers who truly go above and beyond the call of duty. And recently one, police officer took the idea of serving to another level. A while back, Mansfield police in the United Kingdom got a call about a robbery at the home of a 93-year-old man.
After taking care of the paper work and making sure he was okay the officers wanted to go back to check on the kind man. When the officers returned, they sat with the gentleman and learned so many details about his life. They learned all about his time as a pilot in World War Two, and heard all about his beautiful wife who he sadly lost a few years ago. While they were sitting with this incredible man, one of the officers noticed that there was a piano in the living room.
This particular officer was a passionate piano player and couldn’t help but take some time to tickle the ivories. He sat and started to play and thankfully one of his brothers in blue pulled out his phone and started to record this amazing moment.
This officer’s talent is incredible, but it is when you can see the hands of this gentleman conducting along that you have to stop and truly take notice of the power of this moment. Taking the time to share some music and a chat with this man wasn’t required of these men but what a difference it made!
Even though she has been gone for four years, Clarence still goes on romantic lunch dates with his late wife. This may sound odd but this sweet man still loves his precious wife after all these years.
Clarence and Carolyn shared a love deeper than what you will ever hear about in a Shakespeare Poem. Anyone who knew them would agree that this pair adored each other and Clarence’s fire for his wife never left, even after her death. The two were married for 64 years and Clarence will tell you that Carolyn was the perfect wife. When she was alive, one of their daily routines were going to one of the local diners six days out of the week for a lunch date.
To this day, Clarence still attends his lunch and brings a picture of his beautiful wife right along with him. He sits right across from her pictures as he eats his meal. Throughout the day he stops by her gravesite and before he heads home. Their house is still filled with admiration for Carolyn and it is like a monument of their love. It is so rare for people to find a love so deep, so that is what makes their love story so amazing.
If you've ever milked a cow, you know that it takes a little bit of finesse. And this farmer knows all about the art of milking a cow.
Just watch as she sits on a stool and starts to play the guitar. Almost immediately, the cow begins to leak onto the ground. And the more this artist plays, the more milk comes out of the cow. I have no idea how they figured out that this particular song would work, but it's truly amazing to see. She just keeps on playing and the cow is content as can be.
Next time, they need to put a bucket under this sweet girl so that they can catch all of that milk. I've seen a lot of farm videos, but I've never seen anything like this. God truly put a lot of work into the creatures of this earth. Have you ever seen an animal react to music like this?
This 2-year-old was fighting for her life when strangers saw the toddler dangling from a balcony. The little girl was trapped on a window canopy of a residential building's third floor. These strangers did not hesitate to take charge and immediately sprang into action.
Just watch as these Good Samaritans form a human chain to help pull the scared toddler to safety. One man grabbed another man's legs and feet and together they rescued her. I'm sure this little girl was terrified to find herself on the side of a building but these strangers stepped up when they needed to.
I'm so glad that these people were in the right place at the right time. There's no doubt that God was looking out for this little girl. I'm praying for this sweet child and her recovery and thanking God for good people in the world.
