About Joel and AnnaLisa Jones
Pastor Joel Jones was born in Chicago Illinois. He married his high school sweetheart, Pastor AnnaLisa at nineteen. Both are college educated. Pastor Joel excelled in football, and pursued opportunities from the NFL and USFL. After a brief stint in the pro leagues, Joel relocated with his wife to California. They are blessed with two children and four grandchildren. He worked in law enforcement for over 30 years until he retired. During his civil career Pastor Joel served as a sworn peace officer, a Sergeant of police, and later a Sergeant with the San Francisco Sheriff's Department.
Their life has been a shared journey as was their shared encounter with Christ and ultimate salvation experience. After a divine supernatural encounter with the Lord, Joel and Annalisa entered into an everlasting covenant with God. Together they heeded the call of God when He summoned them simultaneously out of the world in 2004.
Pastors Joel and AnnaLisa served as missionaries in South Africa, Southern India, and Guyana South America. After returning to the U.S. from Guyana, both Joel and AnnaLisa were ordained as Pastors in 2010. In 2011, together they founded Spirit of Truth Church Worldwide (STCW). Pastor Joel graduated from Global University Berean School of Theology in 2015.
