Elderly Woman’s Adorable Gardening Assistant Will Melt Your Heart

This elderly woman’s adorable gardening assistant will melt your heart. These two have quite the green thumb, or paw. Watch the short but heartwarming clip to see who helps this woman with her gardening and how.

Aren’t dogs the best? I mean, how can someone not like dogs? Even those who would not consider themselves animal people still must have a soft spot in their hearts for them. As we all know, they are referred to as man’s best friend, and that’s a title that they have earned, and we see more and more examples of why every day.

Dogs are some of the most loving, kind and loyal creatures on this planet. Show a canine a little bit of kindness and attention, and you have yourself a friend for the rest of your life. Also, it doesn’t matter if you’ve been gone for five minutes, five days or five months; upon your return, that dog will be sitting there waiting for you, just wanting to jump about as they give you big, wet, slobbery kisses.

Since we are all well aware of the loving and kind nature of dogs, it should be no surprise that whenever we hear of something else one is doing or has done for someone else. However, those stories never fail to further deepen our appreciation for those four-legged, furry creatures.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a woman in her 90s stays active by gardening. She enjoys planting flowers in her front yard. However, this 96-year-old grandmother does not do this alone. She gets some special assistance from Chewy, a Newfoundland dog.

With the dog by her side, the woman simply points to the spot in the yard where she’d like to plant the flowers, and her furry assistant gets to work. The animal immediately gets to work digging, making a hole for the woman to put the flower into, and it’s just about the cutest thing in the world!

Genesis 1:21 “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

Evangelist Jay Lowder on the Awakening Sweeping College Campuses: 'I've Never Seen This'

Evangelist Jay Lowder joins Crosswalk Talk's Michael Foust to break down the powerful spiritual movement unfolding on college campuses across America. He shares what happened at a recent event where more than 500 students made decisions for Christ -- and why he says the hunger among Gen Z is unlike anything he’s seen in 20-plus years of ministry. Lowder also explains the difference between a revival and a true spiritual awakening, and why that distinction matters right now. Plus, he opens up about his own journey from a suicide attempt to a life devoted to helping others find hope in Christ.

Stuff Will Happen

Jesus said there would be tests and trials. No need to be taken by surprise. Jesus said these things would happen. What Jesus said at the end of that scripture...BE OF GOOD CHEER when stuff happens, because He has overcome the world!

The Importance of Scripture Memory

When was the last time a Bible verse just popped into your head exactly when you needed it?

In this episode of the Praying Christian Women podcast, Jaime and Alana dive into the often-overlooked spiritual discipline of Scripture memorization—why it matters, what gets in our way, and how to actually do it as adults.

What does it look like to hide God's Word in your heart when life feels too busy and your brain feels too full? Jaime and Alana share personal stories, practical strategies, and honest confessions about the "blocks" that keep us from memorizing Scripture—from feeling too old, to frustration with changing Bible translations, to the overwhelm of not knowing where to start.

Along the way, they unpack creative tools that work at any age—setting verses to familiar tunes, using hand motions, breaking passages into manageable chunks, and asking reading-comprehension questions to slow down and absorb the text. Alana shares how Bible quizzing as a teenager shaped her ability to memorize entire chapters of Matthew, while Jaime offers a fresh perspective on why we can't always rely on our phones to bring God's Word to mind.

Whether you're a seasoned Scripture memorizer who has fallen out of practice or someone who has never tried it before, we hope you'll join us as we rediscover the joy, depth, and lasting fruit of committing God's Word to memory—one verse at a time.

Prayer for God's Ways Over Our Own | Your Daily Prayer

It’s easy to chase what we think will make us happy—comfort, success, or control over our circumstances. But true peace isn’t found in getting everything we want… it’s found in learning to delight in God.

Today’s prayer is rooted in Psalm 37:4, reminding us that when we take deep joy in the Lord, He transforms our hearts and aligns our desires with His perfect will.

If you’ve been feeling restless, discontent, or pulled toward your own plans instead of God’s, this prayer will help you surrender, refocus, and find true satisfaction in Him alone.

A Prayer for When Life Feels Like It’s Falling Apart | 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

When life feels like it is slowly falling apart, it can be hard to hold on to hope. Things wear down, plans change, relationships struggle, health fades, and our hearts can grow weary under the weight of it all.

Today’s prayer reminds us of the promise in 2 Corinthians 4:16-18: even though our bodies are wasting away, our spirits are being renewed day by day. What we see now is temporary, but what God is preparing is eternal.

If you feel tired, discouraged, or overwhelmed by the brokenness around you, this prayer is for you. May God renew your strength, steady your heart, and help you fix your eyes on the eternal hope found in Jesus.

Father’s Tear-Jerking Message on How the Mess Is a Blessing

A father shared a tear-jerking message on how the mess is a blessing. This dad understands his child will only be little for a short time, so he’s going to appreciate every minute of it, even the messy parts. Watch this short but powerful clip to hear what this father had to say about cherishing every moment with your children.

Everyone who is a parent will agree that there is nothing like it. There is no greater blessing on Earth than being a parent. Watching them grow, learn and explore is an experience unlike any other. Children are a gift from the Lord and should be treated as such.

However, as all parents also understand, those children do not stay little for long. Before you know it, that baby you brought home from the hospital is ready to head off to kindergarten, and you’re doing everything you can to keep the tears from flowing. Blink, and they are starting high school. Do it again, and now they’ve graduated and are now backing out of your driveway, heading to college.

So, that’s why it’s important to cherish every moment with your children, even those messes, especially the messes. In a clip posted on YouTube, a father reflects on a recent interaction with his 4-year-old daughter. His powerful, heartwarming and tear-jerking message reminds parents that powerful, beautiful memories can even come from those messes.

“I think, too often, we forget that what looks like a mess to us is actually a memory being built in real time, right in front of us, for both of us,” he said. “It’s just her little body saying, ‘Hang out in my world for a minute, Dad. Before I grow up, will you meet me here?”

That’s an incredibly powerful message and a reminder to slow down and cherish the time with our children because once they are gone, they are gone forever.

Ephesians 6:4 “And, you fathers, do not make your children angry: but give them training in the teaching and fear of the Lord.”

The Search for the Ark of the Covenant, with Archaeologist Chris McKinny

What happened to the Ark of the Covenant -- and why has its mystery captivated the world for centuries? In this episode, biblical archaeologist Chris McKinny joins Crosswalk Talk's Michael Foust to explore the leading theories, ancient legends and what Scripture says about the Ark’s disappearance. He also shares how archaeology continues to illuminate the world of the Bible and strengthen understanding of its historical setting. McKinny hosts the new film "Legends of the Lost Ark." If you love biblical history, faith and fascinating mysteries, this is an episode you won’t want to miss.

Dad's Heartwarming Reaction to Watching Son Fulfill MLB Dream

One dad had a heartwarming reaction to watching his son fulfill his dream of playing Major League Baseball. The father could not help but get emotional as he watched his son take the mound in an MLB game. Watch the short but tear-jerking clip to see how this father responded as he witnessed his son play in a professional baseball game.

Nearly every child imagines and daydreams about what they want to do when they grow up. Most children, at some point, say they want to be a professional athlete. Maybe they want to play in the NBA, suit up for an NFL team or put on pads for an NHL club. Either way, many youngsters have this dream of playing professional sports.

However, as everyone knows, the likelihood of someone actually making it to the NBA or NFL is slim. You don’t want to kill anyone’s dream, but that is the sad reality. There is a lot of competition for a handful of spots, and not everyone is going to be blessed with the skills and athleticism of LeBron James, Dak Prescott or Stephen Curry.

But there are those who, through hard work, determination and sheer will, make it to that top echelon of competition and become professional athletes. A clip posted on YouTube captured the moment a father saw his son realize his dream. Dad was in the stands as his son took the mound for the Philadelphia Phillies.

Orion Kerkering, a pitcher for the Phillies, was brought in the 8th inning of a 3-2 game against the New York Mets, according to People.  It was Orion’s MLB debut, and his father, Todd, was in the stands to see his son in action.

The cameras caught Todd watching his son make his debut, and he quickly and understandably became emotional. He was able to see his son do what not many other people ever get the chance to do: play in an MLB game. All his son’s hard work and perseverance – all those hours of intense, highly focused practice – had finally paid off.

1 Corinthians 9:24 “Do you not see that in a running competition all take part, but only one gets the reward? So let your minds be fixed on the reward.

How To Have An Attitude of Gratitude (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Gratitude can feel impossible when life feels loud—when the to-do list never ends, relationships strain, or the weight of the world presses down. Yet here’s the quiet miracle of 1 Thessalonians 5:18 : God isn’t asking us to fake thankfulness. He’s inviting us to find it, like wildflowers blooming through cracked pavement. Think about Paul—he wrote these words not from comfort, but amid persecution, shipwrecks, and prison cells. His gratitude wasn’t rooted in his circumstances; it was anchored in who God is. He thanked Him for the breath in his lungs, the friends who stayed loyal, and the hope that refused to fade. Gratitude, for Paul, wasn’t a fleeting feeling—it was a choice to see God’s faithfulness even in chaos. Today, your “thank You” might look simple: whispering it over burnt toast because you have food, naming one good thing before bed after a hard day, or thanking God for the person who challenges you—they’re teaching you grace. Gratitude doesn’t erase pain, but it shifts our focus. It opens our eyes to see God working, even in the mess. And in that posture of trust, we discover His presence is enough. Ask Yourself: What’s one thing I can thank God for today, even if it’s buried under frustration? How might gratitude soften the edges of my hardest moment right now?

Mother Gives Potential Parents Some Advice

A mother gives potential parents some advice. She offers practical, helpful hints and suggestions to those considering becoming parents. Watch the short but enlightening clip to hear the words of wisdom this mother shared, completely free of charge.

There is simply nothing like being a parent. Watching your little one grow, learn and explore is an experience unlike any other on this earth. No respectable parent would trade time with their little one for anything in the world. Sure, your life will never be the same once they make their much-anticipated arrival in the world. But those changes will all be for the better.

While being a parent is wonderful, it comes with a steep learning curve. Actually, it’s one that never stops, as Mom and Dad are always learning how to parent and respond to this situation or that circumstance. Nevertheless, a little advice here and there, especially before those children arrive, is always helpful. Who doesn’t want more knowledge, particularly from people who have been there and done that?

In a clip posted on YouTube, one mother shares some of her hard-won knowledge about raising children. The words of wisdom she shares are likely to be greatly appreciated by first-time expectant parents, while those who are already parents will nod in agreement.

“For starters, do not ever rush them along,” she said. “’Cause they’re either going to go into ‘panic mode’ and like, start short-circuiting, and it’s going to just delay everything you’re trying to do. Or they’re just going to move slow as molasses because they know that you want them to move faster.”

They sound rather spiteful, don’t they?

“Do not ever buy any food in bulk, even if it’s they’re favorite food that they’ve loved for the past two years because the moment the moment you buy it, they’re going to decide, this is the nastiest thing you’ve ever served me.”

Those are only two pieces of wisdom she shares in the video, which is full of many more helpful tips for those hoping to become parents.

Proverbs 22:6 “If a child is trained up in the right way, even when he is old, he will not be turned away from it.”

Matt Chandler on Holiness, Sanctification and the Surrendered Life that Jesus Requires

Pastor and bestselling author Matt Chandler joins Crosswalk Talk's Michael Foust to discuss his new book Becoming Like Jesus and why holiness is a lifelong process, not an instant result. He explains the biblical meaning of sanctification, why so many churches have wrongly emphasized conversion over discipleship, and how God uses both victories and struggles to shape believers. Chandler also shares powerful insight on revival, Gen Z’s spiritual hunger, and why he believes secularism has collapsed.

How To Do Everything In Love (1Corinthians 16:14)

“Do everything in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14 Reflection: “Do everything in love." Four words that capture the essence of following Christ—not just in grand gestures of faith, not just when people deserve it, and not even when it feels natural—but everything. When Paul wrote these words, the Corinthian church was fracturing. People were choosing sides, flaunting their spiritual gifts, and arguing over who was right. They had knowledge, power, impressive abilities—but without love as their foundation, it was all just noise. Paul reminded them, and us, that love gives everything meaning. This isn't about manufacturing feelings or pretending everything is fine. Love isn't asking you to ignore the challenges; instead, it offers a different way through them. It’s about letting God’s love flow through us when relationships strain our grace, when circumstances test our faith, and when our own hearts feel empty. Because love isn't just something we do—it's who God is and who He created us to be. Today, in your ordinary moments and challenging conversations, remember: we love not because it’s easy, but because we’ve been loved at our most unlovable. Let that truth guide every word, every action, every response. Ask Yourself: How might today look different if I filtered every decision through the lens of love? Where do I find it hardest to choose love, and what might God want to teach me there?
